Description
Our hybrid harness is perfect if you are looking for a versatile, safe, and comfortable model that allows you to enjoy a wide range of activities with your dog. Its design is ideal for walking or jogging with your dog by your side, but also provides the freedom of movement and support needed for dog harness sports. This feature makes it the ideal harness if you want to go on a training where you switch from pulling and not pulling, or if you want to introduce your dog to dog harness sports. Please note that this harness is only suitable for sports where the pulling comes from above (dog hiking, canicross, bikejoring and skijoring). It cannot be used for kicksledding and dog sledding (traction comes from below), as it does not provide the necessary back support. For these two activities, we recommend using our pulling harness.
Features
- Design offering great freedom of movement for the dog;
- Double chest strap for maximum comfort and stability of the harness;
- Safe 2-strap adjustment system prevents the dog from slipping out of the harness and increases its stability.
- Fully padded (back, neck, chest and sides);
- Padding thickness is 3/8" at the neck and chest (areas where there is a lot of pressure) and 1/4" at the back and sides;
- High density padding, light, non-abrasive and waterproof - won't absorb water and won't freeze in winter;
- Stainless steel back attachment;
- Low-profile back handle;
- 2 reflective strips at the neck.

- High density closed cell foam padding covered with a waterproof, light and very durable fabric;
- Soft, comfortable plastic handle;

What activities can I do with a hybrid harness?
Walking, hiking, canicross, bikejoring, or skijoring... in short, a multitude of activities with or without pulling where you need a comfortable and safe harness for your dog! Please note that this harness is not suitable for kicksledding or dog sledding. For these two activities, you need our dog pulling harness that provides good back support.
Do you offer custom-made service for the hybrid harness?
Our hybrid harness is not currently available in custom sizes, but this is a service we definitely plan to add within the next few months!
Is the hybrid harness adjustable?
Yes, our hybrid harness is adjustable at the chest. However, it is not adjustable at the neck in order to provide maximum comfort for the dog when pulling. If you are unsure about which size to choose, please refer to our sizing guide.
How can I be sure that the harness fits my dog properly?

What's the best way to wash the hybrid harness?
If your harness isn't too dirty, a simple soak in water (with a little mild soap) and a manual wash may be all you need. On the other hand, if your dog has decided to take a mud bath and you can no longer distinguish the color of the harness, a pre-soak (to remove the bulk of the dirt) followed by a wash in the washer (delicate cycle, cold water and mild soap) is possible. Since there are hardwares on the harness, it may be a good idea to put it in a laundry bag. Air-dry only, as the heat of the dryer could alter the harness materials.
If the harness size I ordered doesn't fit my dog, can I exchange it?
Of course! If you think the harness you've ordered doesn't fit your dog, write to us at service@nahak.ca. It will be important to provide us with photos of the harness on your dog (while pulling lightly on the ring to tighten the harness on the body) so that we can help you determine the right replacement size and begin the exchange process.
