Good size
When there is slight tension in the harness, it should end as close as possible to the end of the rib cage, but without extending beyond it.
The straps should be adjusted so that you can easily insert both hands on each side. However, there should be no excess slack.

The neck must be sufficiently adjusted to ensure that the harness is stable. When the harness is under tension, the sternum bone should be between the two chest straps, approximately at the location shown in the photo.
Caution: a neck fit that is too small can put pressure on the dog's windpipe – choosing the right size is therefore essential to avoid discomfort when the dog pulls.

Too big
If the harness is too big, it will extend beyond the end of the rib cage and put pressure on the sides when the dog pulls.
In addition, if the neck is too big, you can see in the photo that this causes the harness to shift backward and restricts the upper part of the shoulder blades.
