Description
The use of a bungee in your equipment set up when practicing harness dog sports will protect the joints of the harnessed dog(s) by greatly reducing the impact experienced by their bodies. The pulling dynamics in kicksled and dog sledding are radically different from other harness sports. Therefore, the bungee must offer enough elasticity to absorb shock but be rigid enough to not be in constant elongation which creates a loss of energy when your dog or dogs pull.

Is this the only model you need for snow scooters, or are your other bungee lines suitable?
We don't recommend using our other bungee models (multisport bungee line or bikejoring bungee line) on snow scooters, as their elasticity is too great for this type of activity. What's more, as the snow scooter bungee is close to the ground and rubs a lot, the materials selected for its assembly are better adapted to this reality than our other models.
Is the use of a bungee section recommended for snow scooters?
We believe that the use of a bungee adapted to snow scooters is essential to protect harnessed dogs. This type of discipline is more static than other harnessed dog sports, where the human walks, runs or pedals on the back. As a result, the impact of starting, stopping or restarting is greater. It is therefore important to protect the dog's body by absorbing these impacts with a bungee section.
