For what surfaces is this boot recommended?
Earth, grass or stone dust paths are the surfaces for which this boot has been developed. We do not recommend its use on asphalt, as this could lead to premature wear of the fabric.
Why don't your boots have plastic soles?
Our boots have been developed for harness sports. As a result, we want relatively thin boots that give the dog a good grip on the ground at full stride. A sole would increase the risk of the dog slipping/injuring itself due to a poorer grip on the ground, as well as increasing the weight of the boot/risk of losing it.
Is this boot waterproof?
Yes, the fabric used for this boot is waterproof. Obviously, the closure system isn't waterproof enough to prevent water from getting inside the boot if the dog submerges his paws in water, but the fabric will offer very effective protection against water on wet trails.
If the boot size I ordered doesn't fit my dog, can I exchange it?
Of course! If the boot size you've ordered doesn't fit your dog, please let us know at service@nahak.ca. That way, we can start the exchange process.
